IgG, indicating BBB disturbances, is localized in the small vessel walls (arrow, A &B), in the adjacent perivascular parenchyma (arrowhead, A &B) and colocalized with vWF (A). Comparing both groups, the treated one exhibited more IgG-positive vessels (C, histogram, y-axis with mean ratio of IgG-/STL-positive vessels in %) and more colocalization of IgG and vWF (D, histogram, y-axis with mean ratio of vWF- and IgG-/STL-positive vessels in %).
