Whole cell currents recorded from relay neurons in thalamic slice preparations show characteristics indicative for K 2P 9.1 channels. (A) Mean ramp currents under control recording conditions (ctrl) and after removal of extracellular divalent cations (div. cation free). Inset: Currents were evoked by ramping the membrane potential from -35 mV to -125 mV over 800 ms.
